首先我们来看一下什么是ESL？
ESL是English as a Second Language的简称，是学校为英语不是母语的学生而设置的课程。针对刚到美国的国际学生在过渡到全英语课堂中，所提供的英语课程。 一般会有级别的区分，分为初中高级，具体看每所学校的设置。有ESL课程的学校对于学生的英语要求会相对没有的要求会低一些。
